- 2 tamarind pods
- 2 pandan leaves
- 2 lemongrass stalks, bruised
- 2 kaffir lime leaves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cloves
- 2 cardamom pods
- 2 star anise

- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
