Traditional Turkish Aşure Recipe

- 1 cup wheat berries

- 1 cup green lentils

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup dried apricots

- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 10 cups water

Step-by-step instructions:
1. In a large pot, soak the wheat berries, chickpeas, white beans, red beans, and green lentils in water overnight.
2. Drain the water and add 10 cups of fresh water to the pot.
