- 1 container (16 ounces) ricotta cheese

- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

Special equipment needed:

- Large skillet for cooking meat and sauce
- 9x13 inch baking dish

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.

6. To assemble the lasagna, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Place a layer of cooked noodles on top of the sauce. Spread a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture on top of the noodles. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of meat sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
