Southwest Klobasnek Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 1 pound of kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup of canned diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup of canned corn, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls

Special equipment needed:
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced kielbasa sausage until browned on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onions and bell peppers until softened, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the canned diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the crescent roll dough into a rectangle. Cut the dough into 6 equal squares.

6. Spoon the kielbasa and vegetable mixture onto each square of dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

7. Fold the corners of the dough up and over the filling, pinching the edges together to seal.

8. Place the klobasnek onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
