Reed and Spinach Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water

- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 lb. ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped reed, thawed and drained
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

11. Sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the spinach and reed.

12. Repeat layers of meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, spinach and reed mixture, and mozzarella cheese twice more.

13. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

14. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
