Pistachio & Honey Mille-Feuille Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 1 package of puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
- 1 cup of shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Special equipment needed:
- Rolling pin
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet
- Mixer
- Pastry bag
- Large star tip

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a 12x12 inch square. Cut into 3 equal strips.

3. Place the strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet and prick them all over with a fork. Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry.

4. Bake the pastry strips for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up. Remove from the oven and let cool.

5. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until combined.

6. In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped pistachios and honey.

7. Assemble the mille-feuille by spreading a layer of the pistachio and honey mixture on one strip of pastry. Pipe a layer of the whipped cream on top.

8. Repeat with another layer of pastry, pistachio and honey mixture, and whipped cream. Top with the final layer of pastry.

9. Pipe the remaining whipped cream on top of the mille-feuille using a pastry bag and large star tip.
