- 2/3 cup warm water
- 1 egg
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork

- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

3. In another bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is thin (about 1/8 inch thick). Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.
5. Place a small amount of the meat mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the circle in half and pinch the edges together to seal.
6. If using a pelmeni mold, place the filled dough circles in the mold and press down to seal. If not using a mold, place the filled dough circles on a floured surface.
7. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pelmeni and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.
