Kheerer Puli Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 2 cups of rice
- 2 cups of grated coconut
- 1 cup of jaggery
- 2 tablespoons of ghee
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of black mustard seeds
- 2 tablespoons of raisins
- 2 tablespoons of cashew nuts
- 2 tablespoons of almonds
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons of chana dal
- 2 tablespoons of urad dal
- 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
- 2 green chillies
- Salt to taste

Special equipment needed:
- Pressure cooker
- Grater
- Frying pan

Step-by-step instructions:
1. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
2. Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds and black mustard seeds.
3. Once the seeds start to splutter, add the cardamom pods, raisins, cashew nuts, almonds, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, chana dal, and urad dal.
4. Fry for a few minutes until the dals turn golden brown.

8. Add 3 cups of water and stir to mix.
9. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.
10. Once the pressure has released, open the lid and fluff the kheerer puli with a fork.
