Date Unni Appam Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 1 cup raw rice
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped dates
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Oil for frying

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Soak the raw rice in water for 4-5 hours.
2. Drain the water and grind the rice to a fine paste using a blender or grinder.
3. Add jaggery, grated coconut, chopped dates, cardamom powder, baking soda, and salt to the rice paste. Mix well.

9. Using a skewer or spoon, flip the appam and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
10. Remove the appam from the pan and place it on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
11. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
