Dal Sambar Recipe

Ingredients with Measurements:
- 1 cup toor dal
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp sambar powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, eggplant, pumpkin)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- 1 tbsp jaggery
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Step-by-step instructions:
1. Rinse the toor dal and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

9. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
