Interior Features

Another feature that ensures even cooking is the EvenAir Convection, which uses a third element to keep the oven temperature at a consistent level. Get even more delicious results with the six-pass broiler element, which broils food evenly for the best results.

The unit sports automatic oven lights, which facilitates easy oven viewing when you open the doors. It gives easy access to the cooked food inside.

The oven makes cooking multiple food items easy with the three heavy-duty upper oven racks including one Create-a-Space half rack, two heavy duty lower oven racks, and four rack positions for added cooking flexibility.

Exterior Features

The unit has super size oven windows for easy viewing of the food inside. The unit also sports glass front oven doors for more visibility.

The control panel on the upper portion of the unit is easy to set. You have access to more options and precise settings with the electronic touch controls. With the touch controls, you can choose such settings as Cook and Hold, Delay Start Oven Control, Keep Warm Setting, and the Sabbath Mode Option. You will also see an electronic clock with timer on the control panel.

The MEW6630DDS comes with quiet door hinges and a towel bar door handle for easy gripping of the door for opening and closing.

The 30" double oven is also available in black (MEW6630DDB), aside from stainless steel.

Advantages

This double oven is stylish and very elegant; quality workmanship is very apparent. It works well, and the doors work smoothly and quietly. The unit sports a control panel that is easy to use; you will not have any problems with the basic functions. You can also easily use the advanced functions if you read the owner's manual. The automatic shut off feature is very convenient and helps prevent overcooking. The cooling fan inside the unit, part of the convection feature, is' among the best features of the unit.

Disadvantages

Because the unit has a stainless steel exterior, you can expect fingerprint smudges to be apparent in your unit. Installation of this unit is fairly time-consuming because you cannot simply plug it in and start using it. The doors have to be removed for installation, and you need to pull the oven back out about 2 inches in order to install the lower trim piece. Then, push the oven back in, open the oven door, and then install the trim screws on the side. You do the same with the other door.
