Genuine European Convection 2-Hour Self-Clean Cycle

The HBN5650UC is unlike most double oven models manufactured by Bosch as it is a bit narrower in its size compared to other imposing Bosch double ovens by at least 3 inches. However, this double electric wall oven measuring 27 inches is a winner when it comes to features. With the Genuine European Convection feature and 14 cooking modes, features usually found in combination ovens, this model is indeed packed. On the outside, its ergonomic retractable dials with glass touch controls look quite friendly to the first time user. There’s no need to be intimidated with this model.

Interior Features

The oven’s internal features give the user the convenience and capacity that makes cooking with this oven a great experience. With the 10 pass recessed broil element and a concealed bake element, the user is assured both safety and added space with no bothersome cooking elements protruding.

The rack supports made of porcelain material clean themselves and the presence of 5 standard racks ensures lots of cooking can be done. The 2 oven lights in the interior of the ovens lets the user be privy to what’s going on inside the oven when it is being operated – no one will be in the dark here.

Exterior Features

The HBN5650UC is not only packed with interior features, it also packs a punch in terms of appearance and features on the outside. Its contemporary stainless steel design makes the oven look very sleek and shiny, but at the same time no-nonsense, you get the feeling it is a hardworking kitchen appliance.

The controls are neatly lined up on the top portion of the upper oven. The ClearTouch Glass Control and retractable controls are quite sleek and designed for easy cleaning.

Advantages

The stainless steel design of the oven framing the black controls and door window works more than the black over white motifs of other Bosch double oven models. The ClearTouch Glass Control and retractable controls make operating the oven easy and quite stylish. The Flush-to-Cabinet design is a big advantage for operating the oven – no more awkward and messy handling of ovens. The cooking elements have been designed to give more space and safety to the user. Sabbath Mode and Meat Probe are present in this oven. Convection features are in the upper oven. EcoClean with 2-Hour Self-Clean Cycle is available.

Disadvantages

The unit costs more than $2,000, which is on the high-end of the market for ovens. Using the unit would mean a hike in your utility bills. As much as it is efficient, it would still utilize electricity. Its 4.2 cubic feet overall oven capacity is 0.5 cubic feet less in capacity than other Bosch double ovens.
